New October Wings Sale, Another New Color!!

On Monday, Oct. 14 at 9pm Pacific, I’ll have these wings listed for sale.
The first is the Elvina design, in another new color that is sort of a more sheer version of Poison Apple. I’m going to call it Autumn Night :) The veining is the Candy Coat Gold.

Next, are the Nightshade wings, which is a design based on my older Kira design, which was loosely inspired by Kira the gelfling’s wings in the original Dark Crystal movie.
So naturally, I had to make these in the new Dark Crystal color with silver veins and added some little tatters and holes just as I did for the Elvina wings. Deet cosplay anyone?

Finally there are the Fauna fairy wings in Aquamarine with Candy Gold Veining.

All are the convertible type that can be put in the open or resting position and anything in between now, with rubber washer hardware that makes it possible to pose them on the fly!

Carnival Row Inspired Fairy Wing Designs!

I’ve registered all ten of these with the copyright office already, but I don’t know if I’ll ever make all of them into wearable wings. I would like to squeeze in at least 2 of these designs by the end of the year, but which ones?

If we call the first main image #1, and each successive image is #’s 2 thru 9, which one do you like best?
Halp! The indecision is too much! Haha!
Although I’m trying to have at least a few sets ready by Halloween I am not 100% certain I will.
I took on an order for multiple wings for a theme park that got left hanging by another vendor and have some other things going on so we’ll see, but Halloween is certainly not the only time you all wear wings I’m sure.

More Wings -& New Colors - Added to the Sept. 26 Flash Sale!

That’s right, more new colors are being added!
These Ivy fairy wings below are done in a new color that is a black/grey/blue undertone, with a red/orange shine that shifts to green! They will be $252 each.

I’m still trying to decide what to call it, Poison Apple? What do you think?

It’s not the only new color though!
These Sintra wings below were done in a new light green iridescent, with a bright yellow/green base and green/blue shine. I need to pick a color name for them too, though I guess Light Green could do the trick but it’s not as exciting.
Emerald? Peridot? Hmm…
These will be $271 each.

I’ll also have these Pansy wings in Rose Gold with gold veining, $275 each

Lastly I’ll have a set of Trinket wings with gold veins, for $265.

Apologies for not having all the photos of the Trinket wings! But, you know what these babies look like by now right? It’s a convertible set, as all of them are :)

Flash Sale This Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7am PST!

Sorry it’s been so long fairies, but there is finally another wing sale happening this Thursday at 7am PST!
First to be offered, are the Goblin Princess wings in that new black/purple/blue iridescent film color that I’m calling Dark Crystal in celebration of the new series, Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance!

In this color, and with the add tatters and holes, this older design now reminds me of the gelfling Seladon in the new series - I don’t want to spoil why ;) Since these have the new hardware feature that makes them much more poseable, you’ll see why they might be perfect for that cosplay. They will be $307.
There will be just one of these, but I’ll have other designs available as well, more photos will be on the way tomorrow!

Finished Butterfly-Dragonfly Wings from VIP Sale

One customer chose a blue color scheme for her wings, shown above

I won’t be making these again if I can help it - these dragonfly wings nearly give me blisters when I heat laminate them by hand, and I also prefer to work on my own designs. These at least had an original paint job which brought them more into the realm of fantasy.

Oh and because I know the question will come along, yes I AM working on some Carnival Row inspired fairy wings for pix cosplayers out there :)

Dark Crystal, Gelfling Inspired Fairy Wings in a New Color!

That’s right! A new color, a sort of transparent black/blue with a blue/violet/teal shine and I’m in love!
They made me think of rogue gelfling and a certain scene in the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

My Goblin Princess fairy wing design done in a more skeksis aesthetic, with a new transparent black / violet / blue iridescent film that I think I might nam call 'Dark Crystal' if I'm allowed because it's the first thing I thought of when I saw it.

More on this soon, but I’ve had a hell of a time getting the video to upload right and it is late, there will be more on this soon ;)

More Giant Fairy Wings Listing Tomorrow Morning!

That’s right, tomorrow morning, Saturday August 31 at 8am PST in addition to the giant wings advertised yesterday, these two will also be available! First, a set of giant Amy Brown licensed Bubble Rider fairy wings in Aquamarine with candy coat gold veining!

A new giant hybrid set will also be available - Fauna wings but with Elvina bottom panels, done in Ultraviolet with silver veining.

They remind me a bit of the fairy that gets hit with a blast of fairy poison in Labyrinth, which was one of my big fairy wing inspirations as a kid - which reminds me, The Dark Crystal prequel series starts on Netflix tonight right?!! I am SO excited! We get to see a whole bunch of gelfling girls with WINGS! :D

These will all come with the additional hardware to make the wings infinitely adjustable / rotatable, although note that due to the much larger size of these, they might not be able to handle as much movement or repeated rotating without drooping so you may want to keep a wrench & screwdriver handy anyway just in case you need to tighten the nut.

I’m not sure if I’ll be squeezing more wings into this sale batch or not, if so it will probably be repeat styles and colors unless I really work some magic.
