These Kira wings will be available, I'm calling this colorway 'Grape Sorbet'. They have chrome silver veins and the film used is Opal, they will be $360 plus shipping

These Cosette wings in Opal with silver veins (and without the additional vinyl veins) will be listed tomorrow night at 8pm PDT along with the painted Kira wings I posted yesterday.

I may actually list 2 sets if you all really like this color combo. It is a very ethereal, magical look IMO!
I think this might be it for tomorrow. Also thinking about taking the Pansy wings down & making them painted & ready to ship later this week or next, and I have a frame set of those cannabis leaf wings that was a special order that I just might list as well. I had visions of a photo shoot but I don't know when that would happen and need the sales more.

Also, I don't know if I'll be able to continue offering this same shiny chrome silver for the veins after this batch is gone :/ My vendor just informed me that each bag has gone up in price 50%!
So far the other colors aren't affected but I don't know if that will stay true for long.
I'll have to decide if I'm going to raise prices, or if I'm going to have to go with a different silver.

Trump's tariffs are of course to blame. On a positive note, I sold all the remaining wings in my shop except the Pansy wings that are still up, and I took down the listing for the Kira wings to make these. That's a big relief, and I'm grateful for every order and every Patron here. Once again, I’m opening to some custom orders so get in touch asap if you had something special in mind for Halloween.

Made to Order Fairy Wings at Ready-To-Ship Prices

This Monday, Aug. 11 at 8pm PDT I'll be listing some made to order wings with silver veins, as the frames are being powder coated now.

The Pansy design shown above is one of the wing designs that will be available in your choice of colors. Those specific wings were from a special order with a request for various shades of green on the Patina Green film. I'm not sure if I'll list them as a painted set or a single film color with the option to upgrade, so tell me what you'd like to see. If you want to splurge for a Halloween costume, now is the time to prepare.

I'll also have a set of Datura, Titania, Kira, and maybe Cosette or Fayette wings although I'm not sure I've made any simplified versions of those last 2 that I have pictures of to list with. I'm unsure if the more complicated version with the extra vinyl veins will sell in this current Trump Tarrif-ying economy. That said, if you want to special order either of those 2 designs then please get in touch as I then wouldn't have to worry about not having photos for the listings.

Again, I'm also opening to some level of custom orders and I don't know how long this window will stay open. But I'm working on finalizing brand new wing designs and can possibly fit some of your requests into my new line for $600 plus shipping, with the payment split into 2 so you'd pay half now and the balance before they ship as installment payments.

If you want existing wing designs, the price will vary depending on whether it's something I already have cut or if I'll need to cut a batch to fulfill your order.

I know everyone prefers now to be a bit more picky about their wings, so this would allow you to get just what you need to go with your costume.

I decided on the rainbow palette since it's Autism Acceptance Month.
Autism Awareness Month & associating it with the color blue was started by Autism Speaks, which is known to be really problematic in the way their organization treats and talks about autistic people. So, many of us celebrate it as acceptance month instead, with rainbow colors rather than blue and instead of the puzzle symbol, the infinity symbol is used.
It's my first Autism Acceptance Month as an officially diagnosed person, and, I am in no shape to donate to any organizations right now. I'll spare you the sob story since I've already written about the sad state of my bank account, but hey if you buy these wings you'll be directly supporting an autistic artist - me!

Like my autism, the painted rainbows on these may not be obvious at first, and take a closer look at different viewpoints to see the full spectrum.
If you're new here, I'm very late diagnosed at 50 just last year. It was also through Kaiser, which I thought was impossible as it took years to get. Don’t let them tell you it’s not available, they can refer out for an evaluation for adults if they don’t have someone available onsite.

Let me also say, although the Trump admin is doing everything they can to belittle & scare us with their privacy violating autism registry, I'm not hiding. Fuck that. Knowing I'm autistic and being able to let everyone else know has helped my mental health & I think makes it a bit easier to be understood.
And if they ever round us up to put us in some camp, y'all better set up a big GFM to get me out!
I hear they're walking back on that registry now however, after activism & outrage over it, but they're still 'investigating' the cause of autism and will probably collect information from health insurers to do so. In other words, they're probably going to somehow (wrongfully) conclude that vaccines cause autism so they can restrict access to them & carry out their eugenics plans. Denying covid is a part of that as well - disabled people have been viewed as disposable, and BIPOC people too.
Do you remember how when news came out about how not only medically vulnerable and autistic people, but BIPOC people are also more negatively affected by covid? And after that officials stopped trying to contain it & everyone's masks started coming off even though the vaccines can't fully prevent infection? Yeah I think there was a reason for that.

Anyway....

A quick note for those in the EU who want to buy wings - I can’t ship to the EU anymore due to their new requirements to hire a broker, etc, but I’ve learned there’s a service called AddressPal that can give you a US address for purchasing, and they then forward the package to you. It does NOT exempt you from any customs fees or import taxes, but they handle all that red tape for us & take care of the customs stuff! I’ve had a customer use it and it worked just fine.

I've also dropped off a batch of wing frames to get powder coated in white, so if you've been waiting for white veined wings keep a close eye out for flash sale announcements in the next few weeks. I'm also open to a few special orders right now as well as I’m catching up on previous orders, and will be getting more frames cut very soon so if you have any requests please get in touch.

New Fayette Fairy Wings and More

Fairies, Get ready for another ready-to-ship fairy wing drop tomorrow, Thursday February 20 at 8pm PST!
First up are these Fayette wings in Mauve Mood with black veins.

I've made a set of the Fayette fairy wings from the Pixish Collection in subtle soft mauve colors while leaving most of the wing clear to show the shine of the Opal iridescent film. This also allows me to get away with not needing that additional layer of clear vinyl over the print same as I did with the last painted set of Kira wings so I can bring the pricing down a bit. Instead of $590 these will be $539 plus shipping.

There will also be a set of Kira fairy wings in clear Diamond Fire with copper veins.

The Kira wings in clear Diamond Fire with copper veins will be $185 instead of $195 like future single color ones will be because I accidentally cut into the film at the end of the bottom vein on one of the upper panels. It's been patched with clear glue and is barely visible, the last photo shows it up close.
I wanted to show off all the different colors you get from that Diamond Fire film & don't often show wing pics without the shiny reflections, but thought you'd like to see how much the undertone shifts between blue and pink in that side view above as well as the different reflection colors in that back 3/4 view.

Also, as I'm slowly starting to catch up on previous special orders, I'm opening to a couple more but the production time will depend heavily on the vein color you choose as well as the design.
The next vein color I'm getting powder coated is black, then silver, white and gold in that order. The designs I have raw frames on hand of right now are Fayette, Colette, Aynia, Aphrodite, Fauna, Titania and Kira.
