NEW Chameleon Colored Veining!
Introducing the Chameleon Cherry Violet vein color! It changes from a sort of fuchsia violet to a coppery green to black!
If you have glitter running through your veins, your wings can now too :) The new chameleon Cherry Violet color is predominantly a sort of sparkly fuchsia violet that changes to a coppery gold and green at more extreme angles. The effect is more subtle next to the brightness of the iridescent film, and the effect can depend on the type of lighting they are in as well.
The first set (top) are the new convertible Fauna fairy wings made with the iridescent Berry film.
The second set (bottom) are the Aphrodite wings in clear Diamond Fire. These are NOT convertible, the panels on these wings are fixed and can only be bent back, not rotated down like the new convertible line.

Winged hair pins and combs have been added to the two deluxe wing sets, 2 stand alone winged hair accessories and a set of Aphrodite fairy wings have all been added!
A doubled (5” and 3 1/2” sizes ) winged painted set of hair combs in a pastel version of the Vivienne Electric Rainbow style comes with the Opal Rainbow Fauna wings, and the 5” painted Galactic Guinevere hair clips come with the Datura Celestial wing set.
Also available are the 3 1/2” Satin White and silver Salome winged hair pins, and the 5” Aynia Satin White and brass winged hair pins.

Gilded and Crystal Encrusted Celestial Datura Convertible Fairy Wings
I took a considerably long time creating these, specifically trying to get that round nebulae painted right so it also looks like the ‘eye’ of a butterfly wing. What’s that saying, art is making a thing and then forever trying to make a better version of that thing? Well I guess you can say I’m obsessed with the celestial theme and painting nebulae ;)
I’m also trying to get a set of hair accessories done to match this if I can find the missing supplies.
The wings alone are in the $575 range, with a digitally hand painted celestial pattern on the Satin White iridescent film, variegated metal leaf flourish designs embellishing the tips and edges and further decorated with a mix of Swarovski and other iridescent crystals. These are the new convertible style that can have the panels rotated into a resting position as well as detached for travel and storage.
I’ll update or add a new entry for the hair accessories if they get done. The sale will be tomorrow evening, Sunday Oct. 21 at 8pm PST.
The second set of super fancy fairy wings is the Fauna design digitally hand painted with a pastel / opal rainbow aura pattern and embellished with transparent AB Swarovski crystals.
The convertible Fauna Opal Pastel Rainbow fairy wings with Swarovski crystals alone will be roughly $475, but I’m also trying to make a matching set of winged hair accessories for these as well so watch for updates on that and possibly another wing set or two.
Apologies for not having more to offer for Halloween weekend. This month - and actually this year - things didn’t go quite as planned and we had a string of unfortunate events including a death this summer so I need to not stress about pushing out as many wings as possible this year. The huge knots in my back agree. And it seems most of my customers want wings for occasions other than Halloween thankfully!

Last 2 Fairy Wings for Tomorrow's Flash Sale
First we have another set of the new convertible fairy wings that will be listed tomorrow evening at 8pm PST, the Fauna style in iridescent Lilac with silver chrome veins.
Next is the last wing set in this sale, the older standard brace style, Aphrodite painted in an Ocean theme - mottled plum color fading on the edges over the iridescent Aquamarine film base with silver chrome veining.

2 More Convertible Fairy Wings for Saturday's Flash Sale!
Pumpkin spice and everything nice, that’s what this 1st set of wings are made of! Well, okay not really made of spice but they WOULD be perfect for a pumpkin spice fairy, were one in need of wings. Hand inked in an organic watercolor-like finish in rusty orange, cranberry and slight hints of green on the Rose Gold film with copper veining to give them the appearance of turning fall leaves.
The 2nd set in this post are on the cool side. The Datura convertible wings are made in iridescent Lilac with silver chrome veining, giving them an especially delicate and ethereal look.
I will also have a set of large Aphrodite and small Flora wings listed, with the old school U brace that does not have the convertible option to fold down like the new collection. I didn’t have time for photos but they will look just like these previously made wings in the photos below. The Aphrodite wings have the old gold frames, the small Flora wings have the double coated candy coat gold veining, and is a little paler than the old gold ones in the photo.
I know these sales have been pretty small, so again I’ll have the 2 wing per customer & 12 wings per year limit for the first half hour. After that, all limits are lifted.
The reason they’ve been small is that in addition to unexpected life stuff, I’ve also been researching and preparing for new and exciting techniques and items. I guess I’m forever trying to make things 20% cooler ;)
The sale starts at 12pm noon Pacific Standard Time tomorrow, Saturday Sept. 21. Remember, be there right on time and it supposedly helps if you are registered with my Shopify store as a customer.
