Angela Jarman created her first pair of iridescent fairy wings in 2003 due to necessity. You see, she is a "professional fairy", appearing at children's parties and events throughout the Bay Area. She needed the perfect pair of fairy wings - gossamer, transparent, delicate in appearance yet sturdy enough to last through hundreds of little girls' birthdays.

Since wings like these were nowhere to be found, Angela created her own. Years of trial and error finally produced the perfect pair of wings.
